I finished week 6 last friday and took this week off to get ready for the next 6 weeks. My standing vertical is about 29 and i can almost touch rim from a standstill. My running vertical is about 33 i can inconsistly dunk a tennis ball and i am getting high enough above the rim to start to grab it. I finnaly got plyos back in my training for the past 3 weeks after making space in the garage to do them. I have made good results in all of my wieght lifting and i deffinitley feel stronger and more confident when cutting to the basket.

The Begining of my dream
I want to dunk so bad and standing at 5' 8 most people think its a joke. I know they are all wrong and i have Nate Robinbson and Spud Web to back me up. Besides i like to think of my haters as my motivators :-) I started the jump manual this summer and did it for 6 weeks before basketball camps and working were to much and i had to stop. I went from a starting standing vertical of 24 to about 28. My running vertical went from around 26 to 28. The results were slow at first but i was just starting to see big results when i had to stop. I started the jump manual again 3 weeks ago and my standing vertical is now somewhere around 29-30 depending on the day. My running vertical is at 31-32 this means i need about 6-8 inches to dunk. I am excited to get there and will be trying to progressively dunk starting out by trying to dunk a golf ball then once i can a tennis ball then a softball then a volleyball and then finally a basketball. I am excited with the results i have seen so far and i know i needed to work on my form because my running vertical should be much higher than my standing vertical. I will keep my progress and lifting pr's on this blog and hopefully if everything goes well in 9-10 weeks i will throw down my first dunk.
